Referral Program Rules

These rules are an additional agreement for Ongati's optional referral program and form part of the Ongati Terms & Conditions.
Reward eligibility
- The reward is USD $10 for a genuinely new business that uses the referrer's code and pays its first qualifying paid Solo or Growth subscription, monthly or annual, including after a free trial or a later upgrade from Free.
- Free access, complimentary access, replacement subscriptions, renewals, reactivations, and payments before referral attribution do not qualify.
- One qualifying reward is available per new business and payment identity. Self-referrals, related or duplicate accounts, duplicate payment identities, recycled payment identities, misleading attribution, and other abuse are ineligible.
Review, reversals, and payment
- Ongati verifies eligibility and a Super Administrator approves each reward after fraud review. A reward may wait in Needs review while payment evidence is incomplete or duplicated.
- A refund, dispute, reversal, or later discovery of ineligibility can void an unpaid reward. If a bill credit was applied, Ongati reverses that exact credit. If cash was paid, Ongati may record and recover the resulting amount where permitted by law.
- A business referrer receives each approved reward as credit on its next Ongati bill by default. A Free business keeps the credit until it upgrades. The business may instead choose cash to its bank through Stripe Connect for rewards that have not been paid.
- A customer referrer receives approved rewards as cash to its bank through Stripe Connect. A cash reward waits until Stripe confirms that the connected account can receive payouts.
- Referral bill credit is separate from the Communication Wallet and is not withdrawable. Cash recipients are responsible for accurate payout details and any tax reporting or obligations that apply.
Program changes
Ongati may suspend or end the program, or update these rules, for future referrals. A reward already earned under an earlier published version remains subject to that version and applicable law.
